Not considered an actual town or city, Town ‘N’ Country is a CDP, or census designated place. According to the 2010 census, the community had a population of 78,442. The community was settled in 1956, and at that time it was a dairy farm. Slowly, through the 60s and 70s, more and more people started to move into the area. Today it is a popular place to live because of the great location.
Anyone who loves spending time at the beach, or who enjoys fishing or boating, will love the proximity to Tampa Bay and the Gulf Beaches. Hopping onto one of the bridges gets you to nearby Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and the Gulf of Mexico. The city of Tampa is right next door. Residents shopping, dining, and entertainment close by.
