Dunedin Country Club, located in Dunedin, FL opened in 1927, and from the years 1945 to 1962 was the home of the PGA of America. It is a great course, created by Donald Ross, a legend in the field. Residents of the area may want to consider becoming a member, even if they are just learning about the game of golf. It is a beautiful course, but the Dunedin Country Club more than just that. There is a wonderful on-site restaurant where you can take advantage of catered events such as meetings and weddings. Members receive a free dinner on their birthday. The Club also holds special events, and offers entertainment on the weekends. Some of the best features members have access to are the driving range and locker rentals.
Dunedin is a popular city in Pinellas County. During the 2010 census, the population was 35,321. The area features several beaches, including Caladesi Island State Park and Honeymoon Island. Residents enjoy gorgeous views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. A portion of the Pinellas Trail cuts through the area as well, and is popular with walkers and bikers. The area features many neighborhoods, including Fairway Estates, Golden Acres, and Lake Haven. It offers many popular attractions too.
