Whether you’re a local, you are new to St. Petersburg or you’re visiting from out of town to look at homes and condos in Treasure Island or St. Pete Beach, the Sunday evening Treasure Island drum circle is something you should check out.
Every Sunday night on the beach in Treasure Island, Florida, across from the Publix and near the Bilmar Beach Resort, people come from far and wide to hear the drums thunder. On a big night or holiday weekend, where you can expect as many as 400 or more people and maybe more than 50 drums, the sound can be heard more than a mile away.
The particular night this video was taken the turnout was very light, but you can get a feel for what it’s like out there.
